Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.Position SummaryUnder direct supervision from the Operations Manager the Facility Operations Technicians perform event set-up and tear-down, custodial, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks as assigned. This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.00-$15.00.

The UVCC boasts the perfect blend of modern architecture, flexible meeting space, and breathtaking interior and exterior views of the nearby Wasatch Mountains. This combined with its functional floor plan makes it the perfect venue to host any event.ResponsibilitiesSet up for events using folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, staging and draperyOperate buffer, rider sweepers/scrubbers, walk-behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, forklifts and other various equipmentSafely use cleaning chemicals and communicate proper cleaning procedures to staffComprehend and communicate clear instructions for event setupsRecognize overall look and feel of the building, maintaining symmetry and cleanlinessGreet guests with a smile and provide basic event, building and community information Perform other duties as assignedOther duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2 years' experience in high-volume venue operations.Ability to work days, overnights, weekends and holidays as neededWork schedule will vary based on events bookedHandle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlinesMust have demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentPossess superior interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to lift heavy objects unaidedStrengthened by our Differences.
