Under limited supervision, the Lead Engineer works closely with the facilities leadership to ensure all life safety inspections are completed, documented, and maintained in proper binders.

The engineer collaborates with other team members to ensure all mechanical systems including chillers, cooling tower, boilers, and air handling units (AHUs) operate reliably, safely, and efficiently. This role includes providing hands on training on chillers, boilers, pumps, and AHU maintenance and operation to support skills to develop other engineers. The engineer ensures the physical building and grounds are presentable and safe for staff and visitors and oversees building and card access assignments and removals as needed.Position Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesFacility Management and Usage SystemsInteract with all departments and tenants in FCS facilities to ensure that offices are functioning to highest levelWork with IT to establish and maintain electronic building request & response systemWorks with IT to establish and maintain electronic conference room schedules.
