Facility ManagerMarkon is seeking a qualified Facility Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. This individual will assist the government with project management, scope of work development, and design reviews for the Facilities Project Management and Maintenance enterprises.ResponsibilitiesFacility Manager Responsibilities:Perform daily walkthroughs of the facility to locate and report deficienciesKeep the customer informed of the progress or delays in resolving their issue(s)Oversee short-term and long-term construction projects within the customer site to ensure the completion of projects as per construction drawings and approved permitsWork closely with the construction team to answer questions, review construction drawings, and provide guidance in regard to changes in schedule, work hours, workarounds, etc.Oversee the long-term construction projects within the client site to ensure the safety of the construction crew, as well as the safety of the customer's staff as they continue to work onsite during the construction projectsParticipate in weekly meetings with the building owner staff to provide updates on the customer's facility, to include status of projects, issues, concerns, and to recommend solutions when warrantedReview contractor proposals and provide recommendations to the Contracting Officer's RepresentativeReview and research customer proposals for space, equipment, and other needs as requestedDevelop and/or review planning documentsConduct building code compliance evaluationsPerform peer review of plans, specification, and technical reports prepared by othersDraft design concepts and detailed designsCoordinate with architectural, civil/structural, and electrical disciplinesProvide support in project design, bid and construction phasesCreate project schedulesDevelop scopes of workProvide contract administration supportPerform technical studiesConduct feasibility studiesLead the production of design and technical informationWork and maintain agreed technical and design standardsQualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph requiredBachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project.Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement.CFM, BOMI, IFMA, or certification preferredDemonstrated experience and ability to efficiently lead technical personnelProven leadership and team building skillsStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills required, including experience with technical writingExcellent decision-making skillsSalary RangeUSD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
