Facility ManagerWashington, DCTS/SCI REQUIRED/Current CI PolyResponsibilities:Perform daily walkthroughs of the facility to locate and report deficienciesKeep the customer informed of progress or delays in resolving facility-related issuesRead and interpret construction drawings and specificationsOversee short-term and long-term construction projects within the customer site to ensure completion in accordance with construction drawings and approved permitsOversee electrical-related work or projects and coordinate with appropriate technical teams, contractors, and stakeholdersWork closely with the construction team to answer questions, review construction drawings, and provide guidance regarding changes in schedule, work hours, workarounds, and related impactsOversee long-term construction projects within the client site to ensure the safety of construction crews and customer staff working onsite during constructionParticipate in weekly meetings with building owner staff to provide updates on facility status, project progress, issues, concerns, and recommended solutionsReview contractor proposals and provide recommendations to the Contracting Officer's RepresentativeReview and research customer proposals for space, equipment, and other facility needsDevelop and/or review planning documentsConduct building code compliance evaluationsPerform peer review of plans, specifications, and technical reports prepared by othersDraft design concepts and detailed designsCoordinate with architectural, civil/structural, electrical, and other technical disciplinesProvide support during project design, bid, and construction phasesDevelop project schedulesDevelop scopes of workProvide contract administration supportPerform technical studiesConduct feasibility studiesLead the production of design and technical informationWork to and maintain agreed technical and design standardsQualifications:8+ years of experience managing facilitiesActive TS/SCI clearance with CI PolygraphBachelor's degreeProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Microsoft ProjectHighly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagementCompetent in reading and understanding construction drawings and specificationsKnowledgeable in standard construction industry practicesKnowledge of electrical processes or experience overseeing electrical projectsWorking knowledge of space planning roles and responsibilities within government facilitiesCFM, BOMI, IFMA, or related certification preferred
