With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome new Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic Newark Team!Job Summary: Facilities Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance-related tasks, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in general commercial maintenance and upkeep, including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and fixtures.Compensation: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on Experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401kAvailable Shifts: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 10:00pm – 6:30am. Days off to be determined.Responsibilities:Perform routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment throughout the facilityAssist with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties and assignedDrywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and other general repair dutiesConduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actionsAssist with snow removal when necessary, during the winter months.Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedulesCollaborate with other team members to provide insights into equipment performance and customer service needs to achieve departmental goalsMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulationsParticipation in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge baseRequirements:At least 3-years of commercial facility maintenance experienceKnowledge of HVAC systems and their components strongly preferredMust be well versed in the following general maintenance functions: light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and paintingFamiliar with CMMS software for effectively managing maintenance tasks, strongly preferredAbility to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clientsMust have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
