This position is with our Consumer Brands business unit – where we empower our employees to bring the best Laundry & Home Care and Hair products to people around the world.Dare to learn new skills, advance in your career and make an impact at Henkel.Troubleshoot, analyze and repair breakdowns or malfunctions of plant, facility utilities, electrical and mechanical equipment, utilizing contractors and outside services when necessaryAssist in the development of a Preventative Maintenance (PM) system for all maintenance shop equipment, establish and perform PMs on a regular schedule, document findings, order parts and make repairs as neededDevelop skills in machining, alignment, welding, electrical, pipefitting, facility and preventative as well as predictive maintenance, with the ability to train others in at least two or more of these areasMaintain all facility systems and utilities including boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, sprinklers, gas piping, chillers, process water, HVAC, pest control, janitorial, alarm, sanitary and storm sewer systems, landscaping, snow removal, dock doors and levelersCoordinate project work that supports both facility and production system improvementsPerform work orders as assigned, communicate the status of mechanical, electrical and/or maintenance issues to affected team members and departments, and document any major problem areas to the Technical Services Manager or designeePerform and document equipment calibrations on meters, transmitters, valves, pumps and scalesMake improvements to facility equipment and processes that will increase reliabilityOperate all maintenance shop equipment as needed to support the facility and develop diagnostic skills related to the plant infrastructure and utilitiesParticipate in on-going training and development to learn new technologies and skillsOperate a forklift and/or scissor lift as neededWilling to flex schedule in order to meet business needs, including extended shifts, weekends and holidays, if necessary, as well as moving to other shifts to balance skills, results and training opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to perform basic math skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsExperience with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as basic welding and electrical skillsDemonstrated leadership skills in current or previous rolesDemonstrated problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve issues independently and understand when additional support is neededDemonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectivelyDemonstrated proficiency in the use of a computer.Demonstrated ability in the following administrative tasks: Ordering parts and supplies, acknowledging receipts and coordinating service contractsDemonstrates ownership of team's successActs as a role model and provides direct feedback to encourage appropriate work behaviorsDemonstrated ability and willingness to share skills and knowledge with other team membersDemonstrated desire and capacity for continuous learning of new work methods and technologyDemonstrated ability to work independently and within a team as both a member and leaderCurrent forklift certification and scissor lift training or ability to become certified/trainedHealth Insurance: affordable plans for medical, dental, vision and wellbeing starting on day 1Work-Life Balance: Paid time off including sick time, vacation time and holiday timeFinancial: 401k matching, employee share plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares, annual performance bonus, service awards and student loan reimbursementFamily Support: 12-week gender neutral parental leave (up to 20 weeks for parents giving birth), fertility support, adoption & surrogacy reimbursement, discounted child and elderly care, and scholarshipsCareer Growth: skill development programs, promotional opportunities and tuition reimbursement.The hourly pay range for this role is $28.30. This range reflects the good?faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting.

This role is classified as non?exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location.
