Facility Maintenance Technician

Facility Maintenance TechnicianPGS Worldwide is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in Andover, MA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports the maintenance and upkeep of plant and office facilities while assisting additional buildings as needed.

The role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting basic facility systems, completing work orders, and helping maintain safe, efficient facility operations.Required SkillsHigh school diploma or GED2+ years of maintenance experience2+ years of facilities maintenance experience2+ years of general maintenance experienceAbility to obtain a security clearanceAbility to work independently and efficientlyBasic critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsExperience using hand and power toolsBasic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systemsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb ladders and work in confined spacesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periodsSteel toe shoes requiredPreferred SkillsTrade certification1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experienceExisting security clearanceWhat You'll DoPerform general upkeep and basic repairs for plant and office facilitiesTroubleshoot routine electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing issuesComplete assigned work orders and follow maintenance instructionsConduct facility inspections and document completed workSupport maintenance needs across multiple buildings as requiredProvide limited janitorial support, including trash removal and floor cleaning, when neededMaintain a safe and organized work environmentSupport daily facility operations by completing routine maintenance tasksWork Schedule / ShiftFull-time onsiteMonday through Thursday6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1st Shift)Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
