Facilities Maintenance TechnicianThe Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks across one or more skilled trades including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and general repair. This role ensures all assigned areas remain functional, safe, and clean by following established safety guidelines and procedures. The technician supports the organization's operations through proactive inspection, repair, and upkeep of facilities.Perks & Benefits:Opportunities for growth and skill developmentSupportive and mission-driven work environmentCompany vehicle provided for work-related travelEligible for company benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirementPaid time off and holiday scheduleSafety training and PPE providedYour Typical Day:Inspect buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs and complete necessary repairsPerform minor electrical work, including replacing outlets, fixtures, bulbs, and cordsConduct plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains and fixing leaksComplete minor painting, carpentry, and masonry tasksHandle exterior building upkeep like pressure washing and debris cleanupOrder parts and tools within approved expense limitsMaintain accurate records of completed repairs and work ordersTravel to different store locations to perform diagnostics and repairsFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspaceSupport team needs by completing related assignments as neededWhat You'll Need:High school diploma or equivalent (GED)1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance (including drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry)Working knowledge of hand and power toolsAbility to troubleshoot and complete repairs independentlyBasic math and reading skillsPhysical ability to lift 75–100 pounds and perform frequent physical activity including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneelingAbility to work in varying conditions (dusty environments, extreme temperatures, indoor/outdoor spaces)Valid Georgia driver's license and insurability under company policyAbility to travel daily and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as neededJoin us in our commitment to sustainability and making a positive contribution to our community.
