Facilities CustodianAs a Facilities Custodian, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment for our team. This position supports daily operations by ensuring that all production areas, offices, and common spaces are kept in excellent condition. If you're excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoClean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors in both the office and production areasMaintain cleanliness of all warehouse areasEmpty trash and recycling bins throughout the facilityRestock restroom, kitchen, and custodial supplies as neededClean windows, doors, walls, and other interior surfaces as neededOperate industrial floor cleaners, shop vacuums, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipmentPerform seasonal and routine deep-cleaning tasks as neededComplete light maintenance tasks such as painting and simple repairsReport maintenance needs, safety concerns, or damaged equipment to the appropriate personnelFollow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures including proper handling and storage of cleaning suppliesMaintain the exterior of the facility, including entrances, sidewalks, smoking areas, and outdoor common spaces to ensure a clean appearanceAdditional responsibilities, including, but not limited to, other tasks that support the Facilities & Workplace Experience teamMinimum Qualifications1+ years of janitorial experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishFamiliarity with industrial cleaning equipment (industrial floor cleaners, pressure washers, shop-vacs, etc.)Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessWillingness to take initiative and help where neededAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and managementConsistently reliable and punctualBasic understanding of workplace safety practices.Preferred Qualifications2 years of custodial experience in a manufacturing environment1 year of experience with industrial cleaning equipmentExperience in a fast paced, multi shift, manufacturing environmentEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbsAbility to consistently stand and walk for 8 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipmentAbility to stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and reach overheadWork EnvironmentOffice, manufacturing, and production floor environmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required protective equipment when on the production floorMay involve exposure to heat, noise, and varying temperaturesAvailable SchedulesMonday-Friday, 5:00AM-1:00PMMonday-Friday, 11:00AM-7:00PMThursday-Monday, 9:00AM-5:00PM
