Ford Meter Box is currently accepting resumes for a Facilities Technician at its Wabash, Indiana location.The position will be responsible for the following duties:The design, supervision, permitting, and cost estimates for all property related construction projectsMaintaining/improving the condition of company propertyAssist in improving energy needs and utilizationWorking with vendors to obtain new and repair parts for buildings and plant equipmentResearching equipment upgrades and replacement for material handling, facilities, and energy applicationsFostering a safe, clean, and orderly work environmentThe ideal candidate should have a two-year degree in engineering or construction management from a university with 2 years of experience in facility engineering and support.
