We do not offer rotational schedules, company housing, or relocation assistance.FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. Overtime is expected; 11-12 hour days, 5 days/week. Occasional weekend work depending on customer demands, weather delays, etc.Benefits (eligible the first of the month after your start date):Health, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance401k with company matchPaid vacation, sick, and holidaysAll positions are eligible for bonusesFRs and PPE providedPaid trainingJob Summary: Responsible for consolidating and blending chemicals, loading shipments, chemical inventory, organizing the storage yard, and operating equipment.

Will include some groundskeeping and security.Essential Duties - work is 90% outdoors year-round:Comply with chemical handling safety requirementsFill, consolidate, and blend chemicals according to company policy, in totes, drums, and pailsSafely operate necessary equipment such as pumps, skid steer, forklift, and power toolsPackage, pick, and stage orders for all upcoming shipmentsAssist drivers with properly loading and unloading chemicalsResponsible for proper hookups from storage tanks to trucks and ensuring the correct chemical is loaded and/or transferredConduct gate check-in inspection for all units, for inventory purposesParticipate in site job risk analysis and process improvement programsResponsible for the sampling of chemicals and related paperworkExecute on established procedures for the efficient storage and organization of all shop products and inventoryResponsible for facility and yard maintenance, cleaning, and upkeepFollow proper hazardous waste disposal proceduresFollow Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures in the shop and yardIdentify and recommend solutions to safety and security issuesResponsible for end of day procedures – properly storing equipment and tools, cleaning the shop, closing and locking up the warehouse, etc.Qualifications:Education/Experience: High school diploma, GED, or at least 1 year of relevant work experience required. 1+ years of experience in production chemicals, forklift, or shop environment preferred. Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude. Demonstrated proficiency in operating equipment such as forklift and skid steer.Certifications/Licenses: Forklift certification preferred. CDL beneficial but not required.Physical Requirements – Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 55 pounds chest high. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment and/or vehicles.

Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, climbing, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely operate motor vehicles and equipment, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment – Indoors and outdoors (90% of time in the yard), with some exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases. PPE is provided and expected to be used properly.

Noise level is typically moderate to loud.Language Skills – Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending is required.Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, etc.), and electronic timesheets and programs such OneNote.Mathematical Skills – Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight and volume measurements.Work Ethic – Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions.
