Facilities TechnicianDallas, TXAbout the TeamWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to support general facility upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance at our Dallas office.About the RoleAs a Facilities Technician, you'll perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks while ensuring facilities, equipment, and systems remain safe, functional, and efficient. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple trades. You are a strong problem-solver who can manage tasks independently while collaborating with a broader team when needed.What You'll DoPerform general repairs and troubleshooting across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.Execute preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including power tools, ladders, and diagnostic devices.Install and repair lock systems and door hardware.Perform light electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, and lighting components.Complete basic plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures.Interpret basic building systems and blueprints to support maintenance activities.Maintain accurate logs and updates within maintenance or work order systems.Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while performing work.Travel between multiple sites, if required.What You'll NeedExperience performing general maintenance across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)Strong understanding of building systems and basic blueprint interpretationAbility to safely operate maintenance tools and equipmentBasic computer skills for logging maintenance activities and work ordersUnderstanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulationsStrong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesReliable, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyWillingness and ability to travel between multiple job sites, if requiredValid driver's license (required if travel between sites is required)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move heavy objects, tools, and equipment as neededComfortable working at heights (on ladders) and in confined or awkward spacesCapable of standing, walking, bending, and performing manual labor for extended periodsCandidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S.
