We will be quick to respond to our customers and use "Red Truck Service" when additional assistance is needed.Duties/ResponsibilitiesServe customers in the store while modeling Sendik's culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business.Providing general maintenance to our facilities and equipment, including, but not limited to, carpentry (repairing structures, furniture and shelves), electrical repair switches, outlets, plugs, and appliances, plumbing (repair leaks, breaks, and clogs) and painting (painting, drywall repair and wall coverings)Remain on-call during evening hours to assist with any emergency maintenance needsCommunicate all repairs, requests, and concerns to the Facilities/Grounds ManagerMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures.Assist with all other maintenance duties as neededQualificationsMust be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of the equipmentCurrent driver's license with safe driving record is requiredStrong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the teamAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient mannerAbility to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding store needs and priorities, under general supervisionExcellent time management, prioritization and organization skillsAbility to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of timeAbility to climb laddersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
