Facilities Technician IIIThis organization is seeking motivated individuals for a Facilities Technician III role within a Data Center Engineering Operations team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of critical facility infrastructure, focusing on reliability and operational performance.

The role supports on-the-ground execution and team coordination in a mission-critical environment that powers advanced technology.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport data center engineering operations, including preventative and corrective maintenance of critical systems.Operate and maintain key infrastructure, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and cooling systems such as chillers and CRAC/CRAH units.Perform maintenance on material handling equipment and automated conveyor systems.Assist with site commissioning, readiness, and rack installation support.Coordinate work with technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to operational standards.Track and report on performance metrics, assets, and inventory.Promote a safety-first culture and maintain a clean, organized workspace.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and future site scalability.Required Qualifications1–2+ years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities maintenance (electrical/mechanical), or a related infrastructure engineering field.Experience with critical electrical distribution (UPS, generators, switchgear) or cooling/HVAC systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Ability to work independently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsA vocational or college degree in a technical field such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.EPA HVAC certification is a plus.Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or data center environments.Prior experience in a hyperscale data center environment.Fabrication or welding experience.Growth OpportunitiesThis role offers structured onboarding and hands-on training to develop skills in data center infrastructure and operations.
