In this daytime and occasional weekend role, you'll dive into a variety of engaging tasks to keep our new, exciting food hall coming to Park Square, and our premier Class A office buildings, in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of facility systems; from plumbing and HVAC to carpentry and painting.

Weekend work may occasionally be required. Schedule adjustments may be made to support business needs.Position Purpose:Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Facilities, the Facilities Technician I plays a key role in the operation and maintenance of Heritage's Class A buildings. This position requires a high level of dependability, technical skill, and professionalism. The technician will perform a broad range of semi-skilled maintenance duties, including repair, construction, and remodeling of facilities and equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Respond promptly to work orders and perform routine maintenance tasksMaintain equipment per preventive maintenance schedulesInspect buildings, grounds, and systems for safety or operational issuesPerform general facility maintenance including: Basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairsDrywall, painting, and tile workCarpentry, locks, windows, and roofing repairsLandscaping and groundskeepingRepair and maintain fixtures such as toilets, sinks, urinals, showers, drains, floors, and carpetsAdhere to safety, health, and sanitation standards at all timesMay include maintenance of pools, spas, or hot tubsOther duties as assigned, across any Heritage Real Estate Company propertiesRequirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and/or constructionStrong customer service and communication skillsOSHA Forklift and/or Scissor Lift certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to work in varied conditions, including confined spaces, outdoor environments, and high locationsAbility to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 lbsAvailability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysValid, unrestricted driver's license with reliable transportation and insurability under company policyAbout HeritageWe are a NM Safe Certified Business, committed to supporting our communities and celebrating local artisans.
