RTR has been named to CNBC's "Disruptor 50" five times in ten years, and has been placed on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list multiple times.About the JobMaintain, install, and repair facility equipment and automation equipment within the Dream Fulfillment Center (DFC), with minimal oversight for more complex work assignments.What You'll DoDiagnose and perform preventive maintenance/repairs to powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems. All work performed must adhere to all safety policies/procedures (e.g., lockout/tagout) in order to maintain a safe working environment for all.Diagnose and perform repairs/preventive maintenance on building equipment such as air compressors, heating/ventilation, and plumbing/electrical.

Perform welding repairs as needed.Communicate frequently with Facilities Manager and Operations leaders/team members regarding status of repair work and any implication on the operation.Perform project work to support warehouse daily operations and building projects as assigned; may be assigned to lead the project and coordinate the work of others.Maintain CMMS, work orders, and inventory management.Complete other related duties as assigned.Train Junior team members using OJT techniques Observe, Discuss, Perform, Evaluate and provide feedback.Required Special Certifications or Technical SkillsComputer proficiency to input work performed, identify work assignments, and use emailProficient use of conveyor control systems softwareAbility to operate all powered equipment in the facility to include yard trucks, forklifts, and maintenance vehiclesRequired Experience5+ years of related experience in a similar roleExperience in diagnostic and troubleshooting as well as repairs on mechanical equipmentOtherAccurately interpret drawings, blueprints and technical manuals in paper or electronic formatAbility to work independently and as part of a team to complete assignmentsEffective written and verbal communication skills to fully understand and explain related issuesEffectively manages time to meet all specified deadlines as well as respond to urgent matters to minimize downtime to the operationFlexibility to work overtime, off-shifts and weekend work as needed to support the operation and/or complete project workPreferred EducationHigh school education or equivalent preferred; additional related training is a plusAbility to troubleshoot electrical control systems and PLCsAbility to configure and program PLCsAbility to MIG and Stick Weld and use tools/equipment effectively and safelyPhysical RequirementsFrequent lifting and carrying of tools and/or product weighing 5 to 60 poundsFrequent pushing or pulling of material and/or equipmentFrequent standing when working and when driving powered industrial equipmentFrequent walking, primarily in the warehouseFrequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling and twistingOccasional sitting to perform office tasks and review and enter data in computerRepetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands and/or fingersWork EnvironmentExposure to extreme temperatures dependent on external climate and proximity to dock doors/exitsModerate noise level from DFC conveyor/sortation system, powered industrial equipment and use of hand tools/equipmentOccasional vibration if/when operating powered industrial equipmentWill regularly be exposed to the usual lubricants and cleaning agents required for performing normal preventative maintenance.
