Facilities SpecialistUnder the direction of the Maintenance HVAC Lead, the Facilities Specialist will participate in projects and day-to-day operations of work in repair, maintenance, coordination of contractors, security of the buildings and grounds.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInvolved in adjusting HVAC controls/systems and managing facility security system access controlsInvolved in working with outside contractors for all building and grounds servicesCheck and monitor buildings and grounds on a continuous basis for potential hazards and security issues; handles security concerns, and roofing issues.Assist with purchasing goods and services, getting multiple bids for each projectFollow safety rules and keep work areas in clean and orderly condition.Fix unsafe conditions and perform all duties in a safe manner.Serve as an active member of the Safety team working hand in hand with the EHS Specialist.Manage plant waste materials, including hazardous wastes.
