Facilities Operations SpecialistThe Learning Experience is seeking a highly organized Facilities Operations Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a 100% onsite, office-based position responsible for supporting facilities operations across our portfolio of corporate childcare centers. Working from our headquarters, you'll coordinate maintenance requests, manage vendor relationships, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and monitor work orders through Corrigo.
You'll partner with center leadership, vendors, and internal departments to help ensure our centers remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.This is not a field-based maintenance role. Daily responsibilities are performed from our corporate office through vendor coordination, work order management, preventative maintenance scheduling, and project support. Routine travel to childcare centers is not required.Key responsibilities include:Coordinate maintenance requests through the Corrigo CMMS platformMonitor work orders and ensure timely completion across multiple childcare centersDispatch vendors and service providers while tracking project progressServe as the primary contact for center leaders regarding maintenance requests and facility issuesMaintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and operational documentationCoordinate vendors, contractors, and service providersMaintain vendor files, including insurance certificates, W-9s, licenses, and service agreementsMonitor vendor performance, response times, and service qualityCoordinate preventative maintenance schedules and required inspectionsTrack fire safety, alarm inspections, and other compliance requirementsMaintain documentation to support audits and company safety standardsSupport new center openings, renovations, and facility improvement projectsCoordinate vendor scheduling, inspections, equipment deliveries, and project logisticsReview vendor invoices for accuracy and assist with expense trackingProvide reception and administrative support as neededQualifications include:2+ years of experience in facilities operations, facilities coordination, maintenance administration, property management, vendor management, or a related fieldExperience supporting multiple locations or coordinating third-party vendors preferredExperience with Corrigo or another CMMS/work order management system strongly preferredStrong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and OutlookAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environmentExperience in childcare, education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or other multi-site organizations is a plusWhy join The Learning Experience?Competitive salary and comprehensive benefitsOpportunity to support facilities operations for a growing national organizationCollaborative, team-oriented corporate environmentProfessional growth and career advancement opportunitiesJoin a mission-driven organization dedicated to creating safe, high-quality learning environments for childrenCompensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearThe Learning ExperienceAt The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow.Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development.
