Facilities ManagerSun Tran is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance and repair of all Sun Tran facilities, including transit centers, park-and-ride lots and administrative buildings. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring facilities are safe, efficient, well-maintained, and fully operational in support of public transportation services. The Facilities Manager plans and coordinates preventative maintenance programs, manages vendors and contracts, oversees departmental budgets, and supervises facilities staff to ensure high-quality service and regulatory compliance.Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; some college, technical training, or coursework in facilities management, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three years of facilities, building maintenance, or construction management experience and at least one year of supervisory or lead experience is required.
Experience managing vendor contracts budgets, and preventative maintenance programs is preferred. A FMP, CFM, or a valid Class B CDL (or ability to obtain one) is preferred.Major Functions: • Oversee day-to-day operation of all facilities, ensuring timely repairs, preventative maintenance and safety compliance. • Manage vendor contracts (janitorial, landscaping, etc.) and monitor performance to ensure service level expectations are met. • Supervise Facilities Technicians, assign tasks, manage schedules and evaluate staff performance. • Track and manage the facilities operating budget, prepare reports for department leadership. • Support departmental initiatives and safety programs in coordination with the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.Benefits: Benefits include health care coverage for employees and dependents, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and a 401K retirement plan.If selected for any of the positions, the company requires a background investigation and a pre-employment drug screen.
