About Us: We’re a fast-growing janitorial services provider with over 2,000 employees and counting. We don’t just clean spaces - we elevate the environments where people live, work, and thrive. Our mission is to deliver reliable, high-quality service with a strong on employee and customer satisfaction. As our company scales, we’re seeking dynamic Facility Manager Leader in our Northeast Operations at our Indeed location.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary Facilities Management (FM) point of contact for all Indeed Stamford-based needs, including leading the Broad Street decommissioning and Elm Street mobilization, with regular on-site presence to address issues as they arise.
- Develop and execute a full FM strategy for the new Elm Street location, including preventative maintenance plans for all company-owned assets and a comprehensive soft-services strategy.
- Build a deep, real-time understanding of the new building’s mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems and create thorough documentation to support long-term operations.
- Ensure all life-safety and building-critical equipment under Indeed’s responsibility is compliant, well-maintained, and supported by clear, proactive maintenance plans.
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key external partners, including the landlord, core vendors/suppliers, and the General Contractor.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders—Real Estate/Leasing, office leadership, IT/AV, and the broader Workplace Experience (WE) team—to support a seamless site launch and ongoing operations.
- Assess and secure the resources necessary to support both the initial opening and the continued management of the Elm Street workspace.
- Act as the primary WE point of contact for equipment demonstrations, schedules, and warranties; develop preventative maintenance plans for all equipment post-warranty.
- Validate the accuracy of the asset inventory, upload it to the CAFM system, and build corresponding preventative maintenance schedules within Angus.
- Lead the office relocation from Broad Street to Elm Street, including detailed planning, coordination, real-time issue resolution, and execution.
- Once Elm Street is operational, manage daily FM activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive workplace environment.
- Oversee the full decommissioning of the Broad Street site, ensuring lease requirements are met and any issues are promptly resolved.
- Prepare and organize all required documentation and share accumulated knowledge at the completion of the project.
- Act as an advocate for the broader Workplace Experience team, reinforcing operational excellence and collaboration across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of Facilities Management experience, ideally supporting office environments, corporate workplaces, or mixed-use commercial buildings.
- Proven experience leading site openings, relocations, or large-scale workplace transitions, including mobilization, commissioning, and decommissioning activities.
- Strong understanding of building mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and document them clearly.
- Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance planning, asset management, and vendor oversight.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems (e.g., Angus, Archibus, ManhattanONE, FM:Systems) and asset tracking tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external partners, including landlords, general contractors, and key service vendors.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with IT/AV, Real Estate, Workplace/Facilities teams, and office leadership.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk identification, and real-time issue resolution.
- Comfort working on-site and handling operational challenges proactively, especially during high-impact phases like moves or building startup.
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
