This role oversees day-to-day facilities operations, budgeting, maintenance programs, and vendor management while driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effective performance. This role is ideal for someone who:Is an experienced people leader with a strong track record managing facilities, maintenance, and/or housekeeping teams with accountability and consistencyIs knowledgeable in healthcare or regulated environments, with a focus on safety, compliance, and survey readinessIs highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing competing priorities, projects, and deadlines effectivelyHas demonstrated success managing budgets, vendors, and facilities operations with strong cost control and follow-throughWhat You'll Be Responsible For:Ensure all sites remain safe, clean, compliant, and audit-ready, maintaining required documentation and inspectionsSupport regulatory compliance and survey readiness in partnership with Compliance and SafetyOversee critical building systems (e.g., HVAC, utilities), ensuring accurate monitoring and timely issue resolutionManage and improve preventive maintenance and the work order system (CMMS), prioritizing service needs and reducing backlogDevelop and manage operating budgets and supporting capital planning, including forecasting and variance trackingExecute facilities projects on time and within budget, ensuring scope control and cost accuracyManage vendors, including bidding, contracts, and performance oversightLead facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance management, while coordinating with cross-functional teamsPerform other duties as assigned in support of organizational goalsWhat We're Looking For:5+ years of facilities/plant operations leadership5+ years of previous leadership experienceDemonstrated ownership of budgets and capital projects with documented cost controls and forecasting disciplineProven track record building/using a CMMS/work management system and enforcing documentation standardsStrong working knowledge of safety/regulatory/accreditation expectations relevant to healthcare environments (survey readiness mindset)Strong communication, organizational, time-management, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written communication (scopes, updates, documentation) and professional vendor/customer communicationMust be 21 years or olderHigh School Diploma or GED, preferably a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with engineering, facilities management, construction management, or a related fieldWhy You'll Love Working Here:Competitive pay and strong benefits package$0 medical plan option + employer-supported coverage401(k) with matchGenerous paid time offFree meals, snacks, drinks, gym accessA mission that matters—and a team that works hard to deliver on itOur Standard:We're building something meaningful—and that requires people who show up, contribute, collaborate, and take ownership.
