This role will coordinate and manage service delivery to ensure key stakeholder satisfaction at a portfolio of public schools located in the City of Chicago.What your day-to-day will look like:Support Regional Program Manager in implementing facility management services and serve as primary relationship manager for Principals, Network Chiefs, and CPS facilities management teamCollaborate with CPS facilities department to manage budget, funding priorities, and coordinate with Chief Engineers on maintenance, repairs, and facility operations deliveryDevelop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivityManage performance against established SLAs, KPIs, and metrics while conducting and reporting on QMS special inspectionsUse data-driven decision making to ensure high-quality facility management services and resolve issues effectivelyOversee facilities support team and ensure quality delivery of services including third-party service contractsEnsure all equipment, work orders, and facility conditions are documented in CMMS and monitored through facility assessment program and QMSProvide support, development, and management of facilities staff while serving as key escalation point for client site leadership and occupantsOversee development and implementation of annual management plans and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client reportingDeliver professional development and training for assigned support team and perform additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management emphasis5+ years industry experience required either in the K-12, higher education, corporate environment, or as a third-party service provider or consultantKnowledge of facility management services, real estate, accounting and building systemsExperience managing multiple sites, technical and administrative staff, and key client stakeholdersExcellent customer, computer, managerial, oral and written communication skillsExperience using CMMS, Microsoft Office applications, and building systemsAbility to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve assigned facility goals and objectivesPreferred Qualifications:Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationPrior experience working in K-12 educational facilities or with public sector clientsKnowledge of Chicago building codes, CPS facility standards, and Illinois education facility regulationsLocation: Chicago, ILThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
