Maintenance Technician - Night ShiftThe Maintenance Technician - Night Shift is a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of our automotive manufacturing facility. This role requires hands-on expertise in facilities maintenance, construction, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. The ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson with a strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.What You Get To DoFacilities MaintenancePerform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment.Inspect and repair facility infrastructure including walls, floors, and ceilings.Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.Construction & RepairsAssist with in-house construction projects including framing, drywall, and finish work.Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized construction tasks.Electrical SystemsTroubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, lighting, and control systems.Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.Plumbing & HVACMaintain and repair plumbing systems including water supply and drainage.Service HVAC systems to ensure proper heating, cooling, and ventilation.Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety protocols and participate in safety training.Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.What You Bring To The TeamEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing preferred.Experience3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Experience with construction, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential.SkillsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency with hand and power tools, and basic computer skills.
