Facilities Maintenance TechnicianThe Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting across building systems and equipment. This role supports safe, efficient facility operations by addressing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and completing repairs related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general building systems. The technician works independently on routine tasks and assists with more complex projects as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipmentTroubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtimeConduct routine inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needsComplete work orders accurately and in a timely manner using CMMS or other tracking systemsInstall, maintain, and repair equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, lighting, and controlsSupport basic electrical work (e.g., replacing components, troubleshooting circuits under supervision)Perform general facility repairs including drywall, painting, carpentry, and minor construction tasksAssist with vendor coordination and oversee contractor work when requiredEnsure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policiesMaintain tools, equipment, and inventory of parts and suppliesSupport emergency response efforts and be available for on-call rotation if requiredQualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required3–5 years of facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsAbility to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documentsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentBasic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systemsPreferred QualificationsTechnical certification (HVAC, electrical, or related field)EPA Certification (for HVAC work)Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facility environmentsBenefits:We offer a competitive benefits package that begins on your date of hire.
