Facilities Maintenance Manager

Location: Kansas City, MO | Schedule: Full-time, on-site

Overview

An established manufacturing operation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead its facility maintenance function. This role is central to keeping equipment, buildings, and grounds running safely and reliably, supporting consistent plant operations and production uptime.

What you'll do

• Manage the facility maintenance team, including hiring, supervision, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
• Ensure all equipment, buildings, and grounds are maintained and operational to company standards
• Prioritize safety across the facility and support execution of Lock Out Tag Out procedures
• Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed promptly, and assist mechanics with machine troubleshooting
• Oversee facility budgeting and champion efforts to reduce losses through breakdown analysis
• Maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides necessary consumables for the facility
• Ensure an effective Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program is in place
• Oversee all onsite vendor projects
• Manage all maintenance operations and facilities equipment
• Manage new capital equipment purchase and installation processes in the plant
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

• Experience in plastic injection molding facilities
