This position requires mechanical aptitude, and a curiosity to learn trade skills. A basic knowledge in one or more of the following is desirable: electrical, plumbing, construction.QualificationsEssential Functions:Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Carry out basic facilities repairs: ie replace air filters, change lights, unclog toilets/light plumbing, paint, grounds maintenance, etcWork in accordance with safety procedures, identify and report potential safety issuesHanding all aspects of trash removal.Snow removal from lodges, including roofs as neededMaintain an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest services.Willingness to perform other tasks and duties as assignedEducation / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age.Current driver's license.Safe driving record.Competencies Required:A basic knowledge of Facilities Maintenance.Professional communication skills.Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.Ability to solve problems and take direction.Ability to work in a team environment.Possess internal drive and motivation.Ability to work calmly under pressure and create a fun, professional work environment.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
