As a part of the Facilities team, you'll be part of something special, unleashing innovations that lead to sustainable economic growth and a smarter, better world.Responsibilities:Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Chemical/Gas/Slurry distribution systems and equipmentFollowing standard operating procedures for troubleshooting chemical and gas distribution systems, performing laboratory testing, and completing chemical and gas container change outsReading and measuring plant operating parameters to determine process changes required to maintain operations within specificationsMaintaining a clean, orderly, and safe workplacePerforming rounds and readings of gas/chemical distribution equipmentPerforming Gas/Chemical container change outs to ensure constant flow to factory toolsOperating and controlling gas/chemical distribution systemsEnsuring equipment is operating within controls/specificationsMaking recipe adjustments to ensure correct gas/chemical concentrations are blended for factory toolsSetting up and adjusting indicating and controlling devices, for example gas/chemical analyzers, temperature indicators and pressure/flow controlling devices, or gauging instruments to facilitate simultaneous analysis and control of process conditionsObserving gauges, signals, and recording instruments, turning valves, and moving controls to regulate temperatures, pressures, and flow of steamPerforming preventive maintenance procedures at specified intervals to keep process equipment clean, and performing at optimum levelsPerforming diagnostic and troubleshooting practices to determine root cause and corrective actions needed to maintain systems operation within specificationsPerforming emergency and corrective maintenance actions to repair damaged equipment or correct out of specification conditionsDrawing samples of product at specified stages of operation and performing pH, gas/chemical analyses, or other standard tests to determine if material concentration or quality is within factory specificationsMaintaining log of gauge readings, shift throughput, and equipment malfunctionsPatrolling area to inspect equipment for leaks and hazards and to record tank levels and gauge readingsEnsuring processing conditions and process output are within regulatory limits. Responsible for correcting conditions and alerting management of discrepanciesEnsuring all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of equipment systems are met, and equipment operations, repairs, modifications, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirementsAdditional duties based on business needs, including Emergency Response Team (ERT)Knowledge and Personal skills:Knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations, and the ability to apply to maintenance operation of site Gas/Chemical distribution systemsFollow all safety policies and procedures at all timesFundamental understanding of chemical and gas semiconductor distribution systems.

Pumping, filtration and automationAbility to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and specificationsAbility to work cooperatively with other technicians, supervisors, engineers, and managersTeam building, Analytical and problem solving skillsSound decision making skillsEffective written, verbal, presentation, and listening communications skillsComputer skills including the ability to operate Corporate email, spreadsheets, word processing, engineering drawing databases at a highly proficient levelCapable of working independently and exhibit effective time management skillsWillingness and ability to work overtime when needed for business purposes, or to be called-in to work in the event of emergency or business needsContributes recommendations and suggestion for work method improvements, safety, materials, and toolsAn appropriate focus on personal, process, and work force safetyAttributes should include honesty, trustworthiness, respect for others, flexibility, and sound workplace ethicsExperience, Education, and Training:High School graduation or GED is requiredTechnical College or Trade Program is preferredExperience with laboratory or analytical equipment is preferredPrevious knowledge in operation of industrial and/or commercial processing equipmentFive years' experience with process piping systems, working in an industrial setting are highly preferredCompetency in basic mathematic skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, divisionPhysical Requirements:May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strainRequired to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objectsThe position will come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and partsMust be medically qualified to wear a personal respiratorSensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipmentMust have the ability to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spacesWork Location: Phoenix AZ 85083Work Type: Onsite
