Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering departmentCoordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activitiesManage Capital Approval ProcessMonitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goalsMonthly reporting of departmental metricsFollow-up on permanent corrective action plans to resolve any outstanding issues related to quality, production, equipment, tooling, customers, and production controlsDrive continuous improvement of processes, quality and cost to maintain profitability and competitivenessSubmitting and controlling the capital spending for the Formulated Products, TFS and CMP area via budgeting and current estimatingMember of the Management of Change Control Board which approves all change proposalsMember of the Material Review Board which approves all requests for material dispositionRequirementsBS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Degree10+ years Chemical Manufacturing Plant experience5+ years of leadership experience including supervising and mentoring others5+ years Project Management experienceStrong computer skills for Microsoft Office Word and Excel.Preferred experience with SAP.Strong troubleshooting skillsStrong written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate professionally with all levels in the organizationThis is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
