We are partnering with an independent oil & gas operator seeking a Facilities Engineer to support field operations, rotating equipment reliability, gas processing facilities, and capital projects across producing assets in the Four Corners region.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve facility performance, reliability, and safety while managing projects from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead rotating equipment reliability and maintenance programs, including reciprocating compressors, pumps, and VRUs.
- Provide engineering support for compression and gas processing facilities.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and optimize facility performance.
- Manage facility upgrades and capital projects from scope through execution.
- Work closely with field operations, maintenance teams, and contractors.
- Support regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of facilities engineering experience within upstream oil & gas.
- Experience with rotating equipment, gas processing facilities, and production infrastructure.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
