We consult with our clients to develop optimal solutions, engage with our clients and their stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, and empower our clients and the people we collectively serve.This position is responsible for managing and coordinating all facility-related activities, including but not limited to, building repairs, security, maintenance, construction, cleaning, vending, offsite storage, staff relocation, emergency response, and other duties as assigned.Primary Responsibilities and Duties:Manage the day-to-day building operations to ensure a clean, professional, and safe working environment.
This entails the management and coordination of numerous vendors, contractors, township officials, the building landlord, etc.Oversee the facility needs in all remote offices including but not limited to Killeen, TX, and Utica, NYManage and monitor the security system, including security camera and access card monitoring systemManage & allocate office spaceRespond to any building emergencies, including unscheduled, after-hours situations and eventsManage all Security Guard needsSupervise renovations and additionsPerform facility plant equipment obsolescent planning, budgeting and replacementAssist in mailroom & Shipping operationsMinimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:Associates degree plus at least two years related experience; or at least six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Helpful but not requiredCertified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), OR Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP)2 years of Building Maintenance/Management2 years of Vendor Management2 years of Allocation of office space2 years of Building renovations & additions2 years of Customer Service2 years of Building SecurityRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to quickly adapt to emergenciesWritten and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service and follow-upStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and make sound and timely decisionsHighly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and changing environmentStrong negotiation skillsSolid knowledge of space planningSolid knowledge of general maintenance and repairs of building and office equipment and systemsProject managementBasic knowledge of financial and contractual terms and principlesValid driver's licenseSolix offers a robust benefits package, subject to eligibility based on position and/or performance.
