Working alongside the Facilities Team Manager, you'll coordinate everything from vendor management and procurement to safety compliance and building maintenance. If you thrive in a hands-on role where no two days are the same and your problem-solving skills make a visible difference, this is your chance to build a rewarding career with JLL.What Your Day-To-Day Will Look Like:Serve as the primary point of contact for client service requests, ensuring superior customer service and timely resolution of facilities issues while maintaining strong stakeholder relationshipsCoordinate and oversee third-party vendors and contractors, inspecting their work to ensure compliance with required standards and managing procurement of services as neededManage work orders through the CMMS system, maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on site and tracking completion of preventative maintenance schedulesConduct regular facility inspections and safety audits to ensure building equipment, systems, and procedures meet performance standards and safety requirements at all timesSupport building maintenance activities including HVAC filter and belt changes, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, re-lamping, ceiling tile replacements, door hardware repairs, and paintingAssist with financial processes including invoice review and resolution, budget preparation input for CAPEX and OPEX, and variance analysis to support cost reduction initiativesParticipate in emergency response procedures and be available for after-hours emergencies, supporting incremental moves and capital projects as neededRequired Qualifications:Prior experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, or a related operational fieldPhysical ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 poundsStrong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and complete tasks efficientlyExcellent customer service orientation with demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members while managing conflicting prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in English, with active listening abilities and professional presentation skillsSelf-motivated with problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently in ambiguous or stressful situationsFlexible, adaptable approach with goal-oriented mindset and commitment to meeting performance targets and Service Level Agreement requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of local building code requirements and regulationsUnderstanding of basic building systems and components including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection/alarm systems, electrical systems, A/V systems, office furniture, carpet, and flooringExperience with work order/CMMS systems (Corrigo experience is a plus)Background in vendor management and contract oversightExperience supporting capital improvement projects or facility renovationsFamiliarity with safety audit procedures and emergency response protocolsBasic carpentry, painting, or building maintenance trade skillsLocation: Onsite –Chicago, ILThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
