Inspection And Administrative SpecialistThe inspection and administrative specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety, environmental, and facility management programs. This role ensures regulatory compliance, conducts inspections and audits, and supports continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental performance, and infrastructure reliability. This role needs to support team providing data and maintaining record keeping.Duties And ResponsibilitiesInspection Specialist RolesConduct routine inspections of production area, facilities, and utility systems.Perform EHS related inspections: Fire extinguisher, eyewash, AED, first-aid, hazardous equipment, and etc,.Risk assessment support: work place assessment (air quality, noise level, water quality, ergonomics)Track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.Follow-up after-incident reporting system & corrective actionsCoordinate cross-functional projects related to EHS and facility management.Prepare reports and presentations for management review.

(ISO 14001 & 45001)Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, MIOSHA, and other applicable regulations.Maintain permits, records, and documentation required by regulatory agencies.Analyze inspection findings and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.Administrative Specialist (Compliance and HQ Standards)Budget management (5 cost center management, PR submit, agreement review)Monitor and maintain building infrastructure, utilities, and support systems.Communicate directly with Service Providers, Vendors, and Maintenance ContractorsCoordinate scheduling preventive maintenance activities and facility improvement projects.Develop and deliver EHS awareness programs.Create and update the training materials.Conduct safety training for new hires and contractors.RequirementsMinimum Experience RequirementsWorking knowledge and experience with manufacturing, engineering and office facility operationsExperience and training in OSHA General Industry regulations and practices as well as working knowledge of safetyExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of Management/StaffMinimum 2 Years of work experiencePreferred Experience RequirementsSAPPRManaging vendorsCertificationsOSHA related certificateRequired SkillsTime ManagementCommunication with team membersProblem SolvingCustomer ServiceExcellent MS Office skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWorking in an environment where priorities can change quickly/oftenInternal Training RequirementsQuality Policy - Health & Safety OrientationQuality Objectives - New Hire or New Position OrientationEnvironmental Policy Statement - Samsung Philosophy and ValuesQuality Assurance RequirementsComply with requirements of the Quality Operating System (QOS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2008Identify concerns and initiate corrective actions (through verification) relating to product, process and quality systemsInitiate preventative and continuous improvement actions relating to product, process and quality systemsHealth & Safety RequirementsFollow safe work procedures established by the Company; and follow the OH&S directions of the head of your department or supervisorUse of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systemsWhere PPE is required to control exposure to hazards in the workplace, wear and maintain the PPE as directed, as indicated in a risk assessment, or as required in OH&S proceduresUse other safety and emergency equipment provided in the workplace as directed or as required in OH&S proceduresAssist with the preparation of risk assessmentsBefore commencing work or research, a risk assessment should be conducted to identify, assess and control the hazards associated with the work or research. This should be conducted in conjunction with other relevant staff, researchers and the supervisorReport OH&S problemsReport workplace hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible after they occurReport injury or illness arising from workplace activities using the incident/injury reporting system as soon as possible after the incidentLead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsComplete monthly H&S inspections
