Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, a passion for
representing public entities, and a strong interest in school district and public Spotlight on Culture
agency law. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with clients to provide practical,

timely, and strategic solutions to their business challenges, while ensuring
compliance with applicable laws. Prior transactional or litigation experience ? Professional Development
representing school districts and/or public agencies is a plus, as is familiarity ? Child-Friendly Business Award
with the California Environmental Quality Act. ? Community Engagement Projects

Qualifications
? Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Focus on Schools and Community
? Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
? Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Partnering with school districts,
community colleges, cities, counties
? Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
