Fabricator - Machine Operator

General Production WorkerThe General Production Worker will custom fabricate stainless steel attachments and adapters tailored to specific customer requirements. In this role, you will rotate through multiple workstations on the shop floor, learning and performing the steps needed to complete assigned production projects from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesFabricate custom stainless steel attachments and adapters according to customer specifications and project requirements.Operate a variety of production and manufacturing machines safely and efficiently.Move between several workstations to perform all tasks required to complete assigned projects.Measure materials and finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.Perform quality inspections on parts and assemblies to verify they meet standards and customer expectations.Follow production instructions and job travelers to complete projects from start to finish with minimal errors.Maintain a clean and organized work area across the open shop floor.Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production schedules.Identify and report any equipment issues, defects, or quality concerns to appropriate personnel.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holmen, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
