About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Assembler to join our team in Lawrenceburg, IN. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, shear operation, and press brake work, along with basic welding capabilities. This role is critical to producing high-quality industrial equipment and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components to print specifications
• Operate shear, press brake, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform TIG, MIG, or stick welding as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Perform fit-up and final assembly of fabricated components
• Maintain quality standards and meet production timelines
• Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Travel requirements on projects @ 2-week duration typical
Required Qualifications
• 5 10 years of sheet metal fabrication and assembly experience
• Proficient with shear operation and press brake forming
• Working knowledge of TIG, MIG, and stick welding
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
• Experience in custom equipment or machinery builds
• Forklift experience
• Trade school or technical certification
