Fabrication- Press Brake OperatorLocation - LNS Turbo IncFull-Time/Part-Time - Full-TimeSummary: Operate and setup various pieces of equipment including roll form, drill and tap machines, gasket cutters, and any other pieces of equipment located in the Fabrication 1 area according to manufacturing needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform average to complex layout work and operate equipment to perform forming operations of variety of parts to normal tolerances.Set up equipment, adjust mechanisms, and fixtures as needed to obtain a quality product to specifications.Sort parts once operation is complete for subsequent operation.Must be able to read simple to complex blueprints, bills of material, operation sheets, and work orders.May be required to assist press brake operators and CNC laser operators.Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Competencies:Interpersonal Skills - Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.Teamwork - Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit.Professionalism - Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions.Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.Qualifications:Able to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bill of materialsEducation and/or Experience: At least one year related experience and/or training required preferably working in a fabrication setting.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or reach with hands and arms; bend and twist.The employee must regularly lift, pull, and move.Position Requirements - Essential Duties Include:Perform average to complex layout work and operate equipment to perform forming operations of variety of parts to nomal tolerances.Set up equipment, adjust feed mechanisms, and length of stroke depending on type of metal and thickness.Must be able to read simple to complex blueprints, bills of materials, operation sheets, and work orders.Must be able to change and or recondition punches and dies as required.Must be able to set stop gauges on brake.Qualifications: At least one year of related experience and/or training preferred on different types of Press Brake equipment Ability to read blueprints and set programming and perform bending operations on machine.Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Stand for extended periods of time up to 6 hoursShift - DaysEOE Statement - We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
