We’re hiring a Manufacturing / Quality Engineer with fabrication equipment experience to lead equipment installations and drive production quality improvements.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage installation of punch/laser machines, press brakes, and paint/epoxy lines, coordinating with Safety, Facilities, and Maintenance.
• Monitor quality metrics, resolve production issues, and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead PFMEA activities, apply Control Plans, and support ISO 9000 quality systems and internal audits.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Implement digital quality tools and coach quality team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong quality, industrial, or manufacturing engineering background.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and 8D problem-solving tools, including 5 Whys and fishbone analysis.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, process mapping, statistical methods, and ISO standards.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
