Fab Shop Cutting OperatorRiverStone Group, Inc. is a leading producer of construction aggregates in the Midwest. Part of producing construction aggregates is the need for a quality Fabrication Shop, which we have right here in Rock Island, IL. This position requires the ability to fabricate custom steel products from blueprint to finished product, and everything in between.

If you are a hands-on, mechanically minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you.In this Fab Shop Cutting Operator position you will be assisting the Fabrication Shop by preparing rebar and various steel/metal (think angle iron, pipe, beams, tube round bar, flat bar, etc.) for project competition. This position will require the ability to read basic blue prints to measure and perform lay out of parts before cutting to size. Understand what size and lengths of metal will be needed for specific projects. Keeping a neat and orderly work area is important, and valuing strong attendance is a must.

This is a standard Monday through Friday, 1st shift position, with some Saturdays required from time to time.
