Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer II within our Life Cycle Space & Airborne Center. The Space & Airborne team in Warner Robins, GA integrates hardware and software; develops and executes test plans; evaluates system functions and interfaces; and verifies requirements in support of final customer sell-off. The team builds and exercises systems in both lab and field environments, analyzes performance, and ensures system reliability. This role collaborates across engineering disciplines and supports daily integration and test activities.The center's scope includes sustainment, repair design, and transitioning systems from production through integration, test, warranty, and long-term support.

Responsibilities also include performing functional and physical analyses, requirements allocation, and trade studies.This is a full-time onsite role located at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA.What You Will Do:Work directly with customers to develop CONOPS, system architectures, and requirements, manage qualification, verification, and validation effortsAnalyze system functions and physical architectures, allocate requirements across subsystems, and support design decision-making through structured trade studies within a formal systems engineering environment.Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root-cause and corrective-action processes, using advanced lab or field test equipment.Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) and drawings (schematics and assembly drawings).Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering IPTLs.Attend team meetings, teleconferences, and working group sessions as required.Coordinate and support sustainment efforts, managing depot returns and repair activities.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experienceExperience diagnosing and resolving electronic-related issues using standard commercial test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB, and Python to analyze system data, automate workflows, and support engineering decision making across the project lifecycle.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We PreferExperience with or exposure to various military weapons-conveyance platforms, such as ships, ground combat systems, and fixed- or rotary-wing aircraftElectrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communication protocolsExperience reading software routines and integrating them with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferredExperience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including applying scripting or automation for data collection and analysisUse of tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB, or Python for data analysis and automation.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
