You will be responsible for accurately cutting, sorting, and distributing material to support on-time order fulfillment -- as part of a team that takes pride in both quality and safety.How You Will Do It- Operate extrusion saw equipment to cut material according to production schedules and work orders- Read customer orders, shipping documents, and requisitions to determine what needs to be moved or distributed- Assemble and stage customer orders; place on pallets, shelves, or route to packing station- Mark materials with accurate identifying information and retrieve items from receiving or production areas- Sort and store materials by size, type, style, color, or product code- Safely load and unload in restricted spaces- Apply basic math skills -- tape measure, calipers, decimals, fractions -- to ensure accurate cuts- Use feeler gauges to properly square blocksWhat We Need From YouBasic requirements:- 3-6 months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training- Forklift experience preferred; willingness to become certified required- Basic computer skillsPhysical requirements:- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout a full shift- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.QualificationsPosition qualifications3 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinationFork-lift experience (preferred), or ability to become certified in fork-lift operationSkills and abilitiesFamiliarity with use of a computer and applications.Physical demandsRoutinely required to stand and walk; use hands to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlRoutinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pullingRoutinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 poundsSpecific vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment.Environmental conditionsRoutinely work in noisy environment.Routinely exposed to moving and mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
