Extrusion Operator (Plastics)Mentor, Ohio - JOB Salary Range: $40K - $50K Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits. Due to expansion, a Mentor, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire experienced Plastic Profile Extrusion Operators for 2nd (3pm - 11:20pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm - 7:20am) and a Plastic Profile Extrusion Operator / Supervisor for 3rd Shift (11pm - 7:20am).Requirements:High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher level educationUnderstanding of the extrusion process, raw material to finished goodsPlastic Profile Extrusion experience is a must. Sheet, film, or tube extrusion experience is not applicable.Tooling and extrusions die equipment cleaning, maintenance, set-up and breakdownAttention to detail using dial calipers and measuring instruments Experience with extruding hollow shapes using a pin or mandrel inside the die to form the hollow sections.Tow motor experienceCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
