Must be available to work weekends and Holidays.JOB OVERVIEW:In this extrusion operator role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting extrusion machines to produce quality products for our customers.WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS AN EXTRUSION OPERATOR:Observe all prescribed or standard safety rules and regulationsWork from assigned schedule, work orders, perform and make decisions as the sequence of setups and processes within recognized methods and proceduresObtain work instruction and follow prescribed procedures to set or monitor a limited number of barrel augur, extruder, and related forming/winding controls, such as pressure, speed, tension, and heatMove, position nip rollers, rewind shafts, and razor cut devices as required for proper operation.
