This role combines technical leadership with project management, business development, and client engagement.You’ll have the chance to:Manage diverse design and EPC projectsOversee design quality, budgets, and schedulesGuide engineering teams through all phases of project executionSupport proposal development and client relationship growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionPrepare complex engineering deliverables across multiple or large-scale projectsConduct research and recommend materials and equipmentManage budgets, schedules, and quality standardsOversee interdisciplinary coordination and serve as engineer of recordEstablish and manage project work plansClient InterfaceIdentify and understand key client driversCommunicate project updates and develop responsive solutionsSupport business development efforts and proposal preparationManage project changes in coordination with project managersTechnical ExpertiseProvide technical leadership for complex transmission projectsLead large, multi-discipline teams to meet deliverablesDrive innovation and ensure compliance with design standardsManagement ResponsibilitiesReview engineering work performed by othersHandle hiring, performance management, and compensation for team membersPreferred QualificationsExperience managing EPC or design services for high-voltage overhead transmission line projects with investor-owned utilities in the U.S.Minimum 11 years experience in transmission line design, with proficiency in PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading, and foundation designStrong communication and client relationship skillsAdvanced knowledge of engineering design principles, standards, and interdisciplinary coordination (procurement, permitting, land acquisition, and construction)Experience with proposal processes and cost estimationProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferredMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institutionAt least 11 years of related experienceAbility to complete pre-employment screenings (background check, drug test, driving record, etc.)Certifications: Professional registration or active pursuit of licensure is typically required.
