We're excited to meet you and share what we love about Smith!This role helps ensure timely, regulation-compliant exports, supports vendor management, maintains ISO procedures and bridges communication between multiple Smith teams.ResponsibilitiesEnsure Traders understand and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements regarding EAR, ITAR, ECCN, HTS, schedule B, dual use and end use statementsHelp fast-track international shipments by catching and resolving discrepancies that could delay shippingCommunicate evolving internal compliance policies to relevant departments and help implement changes effectivelyCollaborate with IT and Compliance teams to implement system updates that reflect export control rules and vendor requirementsAssist operations with rewriting policies for ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 auditsHelp manage vendor onboarding, compliance checks, and auditsQualificationsBachelors degree required, Supply Chain focused preferredExperience in export compliance, logistics and operationsKnowledge of EAR, ECCN, ISO standards and vendor complianceStrong CRM navigation skillsExcellent Excel skillsThis role is designed to evolve into a larger impact position with growing responsibilities in vendor compliance, tariffs, customer QA, bottom line reviews and credit checks.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
