The Expert Systems Engineer is responsible for the technical development, testing, integration, volume and acceptance testing of the overall Dematic solution.

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.This is What you Will Do in This Role:Responsible for as sold validation at turn over from Sales to Project execution. Can we build what was soldParticipation in all the engineering discussions and actively participate in the projectAttend & facilitate layout discussions internal and with the customerAttend & facilitate controls discussions internal and with the customerAttend & support the Functional Description Specification Workshop(s) internal and with the customerGenerate System Specification for the customer approval and understanding of the systemDefine & agree on interfaces between components systems (HW/SW/Controls/IT/Subs)Coordinate required simulation updates and integration of results into the projectCreate & execute test planning and management to verify completed system:Software Acceptance Testing (FAT)Internal emulation testingSystem Integration TestingSystem Throughput TestingSystem Acceptance TestingGuide System tuning and definition of adjustments.What We Are Looking For:Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering, required (or acceptable alternative)Master or Advanced Degree in Engineering, preferred7+ years' experience in engineering with demonstrated experience in material handling industry preferredFunctional leadership and expert communicationsDemonstrated ability to create technical documentation.Ability to be customer facing, good with customer interaction.Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are regionally locatedWillingness to travel for extended periods based on project life cycle.
