Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Expert Systems Engineer in Herndon, Virginia.QualificationsWe are actively seeking Systems Engineers with a minimum of 11 years' experience. Bachelor's or Master's Degrees are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following:Experience integrating diverse data streamsExperience with data transfer tools (Ex: NiFi, Cribl, etc)Establishes data standards and acts as custodian of IT and service delivery data sets and streamsExperience in analyzing complex networks and systemsExperience in analyzing log data from various network components and operating systemsKnowledge of the complex environment involving shared networks and multiple security enclavesSystems Engineering with network analyst/engineering backgroundAbility to manage and troubleshoot data feeds, Splunk familiarization, PythonDesired Qualifications:Security Development and Operations (SecDevOps)Expertise with SplunkScripting tools to include Python, ShellScript, or AnsibleCloud security controls and implementationPKI implementationSTIG compliance and vulnerability managementVirtualization experience (VDI & VMWare)Public, private and hybrid Cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)AWS Certified Security SpecialtyWhat You Can Expect From UsThe expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $170,000 - 195,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
