If you understand standards development, enterprise registries, and DoD governance processes at a strategic level, this is an opportunity to make lasting impact.What You'll DoProvide technical, logistical, facilities, and maintenance standards guidance to programs and engineering teamsSupport the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR)Draft and submit Change Requests (CRs) to propose standards for inclusion in the DISRProvide Technical Working Group (TWG) support, including voting on behalf of the GovernmentReview and evaluate CRs submitted for admission into the DISRMaintain standards collections within the Enterprise Standards Program registry and repositoryMonitor activities across standards development organizations to ensure alignment and currencyServe as a subject matter expert in standards development and lifecycle managementAssist SMEs in drafting and refining standards for submissionSupport the inclusion of approved standards into enterprise repositories and the DISRDevelop and contribute to business cases supporting standards inclusionParticipate in governance activities, including review and adjudication of business casesRequirementsTS/SCI with FS PolygraphA Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience orA High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general system engineering experience. orA Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience. orA PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eighteen (18) years of engineering experience.Note 1 - Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
