To support the performance and modernization of Medicaid Management Information Systems, the full-time remote Expert System Operations Manager will manage system availability, drive IT service management maturity, and ensure compliance with operational standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Own end-to-end system availability and operational continuity, leading root cause analysis for major incidents Guide infrastructure modernization initiatives and implement security best practices across systems Lead the design and continuous improvement of IT service management processes, ensuring service quality and compliance Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or PMP preferred) 10+ years in IT systems engineering, operations, or infrastructure leadership, preferably in Medicare MIS or healthcare platforms 5+ years in technical and service delivery leadership roles Deep expertise in ITIL4, ITSM, and technical project execution within complex, regulated environments Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC, and enterprise compliance frameworks
