Expert Software Engineer

Salary: $70,000 - 98,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a high school diploma and 15+ years of programming experience.
• We need experience with Node.js.
• We require experience with SQL/PostgreSQL databases, including writing complex queries.
• We need experience creating API endpoints or integrating with other teams endpoints to exchange data in a fully authenticated and audited manner.
• We require experience with Elasticsearch data management.
• We need experience working in a Linux-based development environment.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical field is preferred.
• Recent Python development experience of 3+ years is preferred.
• Experience with Vue.js is preferred.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker containers is preferred.
• Experience with the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process is preferred.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

• We develop new features and enhancements for web applications that let users enter, search, and retrieve information.
• We evaluate and integrate data sources as needed, using multiple sources to correlate data and answer specific questions.
• We apply sound judgment and leadership within project scope and mentor two to three junior developers.
• We collaborate regularly with team members to review project status, dependencies, and blockers so issues can be addressed early.
• We communicate effectively with fellow developers and occasionally with end users.
• We manage the development lifecycle and the deployment schedule and process.
• We provide regular reports to stakeholder components.
