We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warranty Administrator to join our dynamic team.Summary/ObjectiveAs an Experienced Warranty Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing warranty claims and ensuring compliance with company and factory policies.
You will work closely with the Service Managers, Service Advisors, Technicians, and manufacturers to facilitate the warranty process efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Warranty Administrator performs various administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle warranties.Essential FunctionsAccurately coding warranty claims and entering them into the dealership's automated systemProcessing warranty paperwork to ensure documentation and verifying criteria required by the factoryReviewing warranty claims and correcting any errorsAdministering warranty parts identification and disposalMaintaining good working relationships with the Service and Parts DepartmentsBooking/coding warranty repair ordersKeeping abreast of all factory recalls and announcementsReconciling all warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to obtain paymentsHandle rejected claims according to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and follow up on outstanding claims.Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications3+ years of experience in warranty administration or a related roleCDK, Nissan, Hyundai experience preferredStrong understanding of warranty policies, procedures, and industry regulationsProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)Excellent analytical skills with attention to detailStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members of all levelsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentA proactive problem solverPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
